Post type

WordPress is a content management system that, as its name suggests, can handle various post types known as Custom Post Types (CPT).

By default, WordPress provides two types of posts:

Different types of content can be created and managed with different attributes. For instance, you could have a “Recipe” post type linked to a second type called “Ingredient”. Creating such content types can result in the creation of additional taxonomies. For example, each “Ingredient” could have a “Type” taxonomy to specify whether it is a “Fruit” or a “Vegetable”.

These post types and their categorization offer powerful features that enable you to quickly and easily create personalized content.
